Yesterday I was scheduled to have furniture delivered to my home between 8am and noon. When it had not arrived, I called the freight company at 12:15pm to see if there was a problem. After all, I was planning to get to work that afternoon. After leaving messages and getting disconnected a few times, at 1:45pm I finally put up enough of a fuss to get someone to respond – they told me that I would not be receiving my furniture that day. Apparently the truck was too large to get into my neighborhood, so they cancelled the delivery for the day. I was furious. Here I was, already having missed a day of work and would miss a few more hours the following day for the delivery. That's when I decided to call your customer service.
I spoke with Brandy. She patiently listened to my ranting and assured me that she would look to resolve the issue. Within several minutes, Brandy called me back to let me know that the furniture would either be delivered that night or I would be refunded part of the delivery charges. I was feeling better already. Then, within the hour Brandy called again to let me know that the delivery would be there by 6pm. Now I was happy. The delivery showed up by 6:30pm, which was fine (better than some time the next morning).
